Live a healthy weight

We know that being overweight affects the way we feel about ourselves, but it can have a big impact on our health too. It can make us more prone to everything from aching joints to increasing our risk of high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes.

There are many health benefits to losing weight if you are overweight; it can also help you to feel happier, and more confident.

Live Well Croydon 12 week programme

Our free 12 week programme is designed to help Croydon residents improve their health and wellbeing. If you are ready to commit to change, we can help you to lose those extra pounds.

Our advisers are specially trained in helping people tackle unhealthy habits, which could be having a negative impact on their daily life or affecting relationships with family and friends.

If you have struggled in making these changes in the past, our Live Well programme can help you to succeed this time.

Over 12 weeks, our advisers will:

  • devise a personalised programme to suit you

  • provide you with plenty of resources to support you

  • introduce you to activities to get you moving more

  • build on your knowledge of healthy eating, making you the expert!

Our advisers are unable to give individual dietary advice. We recommend you seek guidance from a GP if you have or care for those with special dietary requirements, medical needs, eating disorders or require specialised nutritional advice.
