Horizons Hubs
A place to connect and share experiences for foster carers, their own children, and the young people they care for.
Horizons Hubs are Croydon fostering communities where Croydon foster carers, their own children, and the young people they care for can connect, share experiences, and support one another, like an extended family.
Each hub has a leader at its centre whose responsibilities include:
- Emotional support and mentorship
- Training and resources
- Crisis assistance
- Planned respite (for example organised ‘sleepovers’)
- Organising regular activities for families and children
