Community engagement

We’re committed to making sure that the redevelopment of the Regina Road Estate is shaped by the community. Your ideas, concerns and lived experience are at the heart of the plans, from the start and throughout the project.

From design workshops to resident walkabouts, every phase of the redevelopment includes opportunities to get involved and have your say. Your feedback has directly shaped key parts of the plan.

Resident Working Group

A Resident Working Group (RWG) has been established to ensure residents are informed and involved in the redevelopment process. The group meets regularly and includes leasehold, freehold, and tenant representatives, supported by the Independent Tenant and Leaseholder Adviser (ITLA).

RWG meetings are mainly face-to-face, with a few sessions held online, and have focused on the design and logistical planning of the project. Anyone who lives in the red line boundary can apply to join. Residents will be provided with training and supported by the ITLA.

Time commitment

The group meets every month for an hour and a half. Our meetings are usually face to face and focused on the future design and logistical planning of the project. Anyone who lives in the consultation area can apply to join. Residents will be provided with training and supported by the ITLA.

If you are interested in getting involved, email reginaroad@croydon.gov.uk or call 020 8726 6100 ext. 44524. You can also ask at the drop in sessions held at Flat 62 Regina Road.
