'One You' is a new campaign from Public Health England encouraging residents to take control of their health by starting with the 'How Are You' quiz at: www.nhs.uk/oneyou
The quiz provides personalised recommendations and directs people to tools and advice to seek help where it’s most needed, including ways to reduce stress and sleep better.
The One You campaign aims to help adults across the country to combat future disease by asking them to make small changes to their lifestyle today. Whether it’s eating healthier food, drinking less alcohol, quitting smoking or just being more active, making changes in middle age can double your chances of being healthy at 70 and beyond.
Residents can make use of the free health and wellbeing services in the borough, as well as taking part in activities at one of our leisure centres. The Health Living Hub in the library on Katharine Street is also a handy resource to pop in for a chat about their health needs. Find out more at: www.croydon.gov.uk/publichealth.
