Croydon Council’s healthy weight services are now part of Live Well Croydon - the integrated healthy lifestyle service for residents. This includes help to stop smoking, increasing physical activity, and alcohol screening, sexual health advice and supporting mental health.
Obesity in children and adults is a growing concern across the country and interventions at an early age can help to prevent long-term health problems.
We are supporting adults, children and families to eat better and to move more. Our integrated lifestyle service works alongside other projects such as the Food Flagship programme, which offers cooking and gardening advice, and the five-year Croydon Heart Town programme to tackle coronary heart disease.
