To book an appointment, you will need to email us and let us know which type of conversion you would like. We will then contact you to arrange your appointment and collect payment for your fees.

Standard conversion fees

We accept credit and debit cards. The following fees are payable when you book:

• £45 to convert your civil partnership
• £11 per marriage certificate, these can also be purchased on the day, or you can order additional certificates later

Conversion with ceremony fees

We accept credit and debit cards. The following fees are payable when you book:

• £27 statutory administration fees, plus venue fees if you choose to have a ceremony at the Register Office
• £45 to convert your civil partnership
• £11 per marriage certificate, these can also be purchased on the day (you can order additional certificates later)

If you follow your conversion with a ceremony at an approved venue you will have to pay the venue separately for its hire fees.

Housebound or detained conversion

If one of the partners is housebound or detained, the conversion process can take place at their location. The administration fee for conversions of this type is £99. We will discuss this when you call to book your appointment.

Deathbed conversion

Deathbed conversions cost £15. We will discuss this when you call to book your appointment.
