Apply for a primary school place: step by step

School place offers were emailed out on the evening of 16 April 2021. Find out more about accepting an offer, waiting lists and appeals.

This step-by-step process is for parents of children born between 1 September 2016 and 31 August 2017, applying to start primary school in September 2021.

There is a different application process if:

your child has already started primary school
your child is transferring from infant to junior school
