Bulky waste collection

Find out how to arrange collection of large household items that cannot be reused or recycled.

Bulky waste we collect

Any loose items such as waste, fencing or dismantled furniture must be in a bag, box or bundle. Put all items for collection next to each other in front of your home or in an easily accessible location the night before they are due to be collected. This should be no more than 10 metres from where the collection vehicle can stop safely. The order form will ask you to specify the location.

What we collect

We can collect a wide range of household items, including:

  • Large household appliances - eg fridges, cookers, microwaves, washing machines and dishwashers
  • televisions, hi-fi equipment and computers
  • sofas and armchairs
  • tables and chairs
  • bathroom items such as sinks, toilets and baths
  • bicycles and garden furniture

We only collect items you have specified in your order, so do not leave additional items without amending your order. We collect single items which can be handled and loaded on to the vehicle by no more than two workers.
