Rubbish bins
What goes in your general rubbish bin, house rubbish collections, flat and estates rubbish collections, check your collection days, report a missed collection and how to order a replacement rubbish bin.
House rubbish collections
Your rubbish bin is collected once every 2 weeks from your bin with a grey lid. It is only for waste that cannot be recycled. Please put your general rubbish in black sacks within your bin.
Leave your bin:
- out by 6am on your collection day
- where it can be seen easily
- at the edge of your property where it meets the public highway

We will not collect your bin if it:
- is not left for collection at the front of your property
- contains waste that can be recycled
- is over-filled and the lid does not close
