New bin delivery delays

There is currently a delay of 12 weeks to deliver new bin orders. This is due to the manufacturer experiencing an increase in demand following lockdown.

If you are currently waiting for a new general waste bin to be delivered, you can leave waste in tied bags in the place you would normally leave your bin for collection. This is only for general waste - you can not leave recycling in this way.

We will prioritise the delivery of new bins to residents who have no waste or recycling bins.

We understand that this is an inconvenience and we are working closely with our contractor to resolve this issue. Thank you for your patience.

Larger bin

If you have 5 or more people living in your property, or you have a medical condition that generates a lot of waste, you can request a larger general waste bin by phoning the contact centre on 020 8726 6000. Please note that you will need to provide evidence.
