Before you start collecting signatures, you should read the petition guidance to ensure that your petition can be validated. You can also email democratic services for more information at democratic.services@croydon.gov.uk.
Public Petitions are presented to Full Council under the item Croydon Debate. Petitions for which there is a statutory petition process shall not be included in this item, such as statutory petitions relating to changes to the Council’s governance arrangements.
Petitions submitted in response to a statutory process or any associated consultations undertaken by us will not be validated under this process.
