Petition guidance

A petition is a formal written request, typically signed by many people, Anyone who lives, works or studies in the borough can submit a petition appealing to the council to take some form of action in respect of a particular cause or issue. 

The council welcomes petitions as a way for people to raise their concerns and participate in the democratic process. Residents are advised to read the guidance provided and ensure the validity of the petition.
