Personal fire risk assessments and emergency evacuation plans

1. We will arrange an assessment with you.
2. We will discuss any circumstances that could affect your fire safety.
3. We will agree any actions needed to help keep you safe.
4. Where necessary, we will develop a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan with you.
5. Relevant information may be shared with the London Fire Brigade to help them respond effectively in an emergency.

How we use your information

Information collected through a PCFRA or PEEP assessment is used to help keep you safe.
Where appropriate, relevant details may be shared with:

• Croydon Council Fire and Building Safety teams.
• Tenancy Management teams.
• The London Fire Brigade.

Your information will be handled in accordance with data protection legislation and Council policies.

Reviews

PCFRAs and PEEPs assessments are normally reviewed every year.
We may review your assessment sooner if:

• Your health or mobility changes.
• Your living circumstances change.
• We become aware of new fire safety concerns.
