Crime and antisocial behaviour

Reporting, NSOs, ABAs, Class A drug property closures, dispersal orders, CCTV, civil injunctions and criminal behaviour orders, gating orders, safer neighbourhood teams, drinking ban zones, police and crime plan, Safer Croydon Radio, and ASBOs.

Orders and injunctions

Acceptable behaviour agreements, civil injunctions and criminal behaviour orders, community protection notices, dispersal orders, gating orders and public space protection orders.

Drinking ban zones

There are drinking ban zones in Fairfield, New Addington, South Norwood and Thornton Heath.

Class A drug property closures

The police work with the council to shut down any property where illegal drugs such as heroin, cocaine, crack, ecstasy and LSD are being manufactured, sold or used.

Police safer neighbourhood teams

Police and partner agencies work together with local communities to identify and tackle issues of concern.

Antisocial behaviour

Contact details of agencies and organisations which can help with anti-social behaviour.

CCTV

Closed circuit television (CCTV) increases public safety by keeping a watch on the busiest places in Croydon and co-ordinating activity between partners as well as recording live footage

Neighbourhood safety officers (NSO's)

Neighbourhood safety officers (NSO's) work closely with the police safer neighbourhood teams, tackling anti-social behaviour

Safer Croydon Radio

Safer Croydon Radio (SCR), is a council run initiative where local businesses can work together to tackle business crime.
