If you run a premises where Category D machines are operated then you must have a permit.
The permit is valid for 10 years.
How to apply
Download the application form below and once completed send it to the licensing team at the address below together with a cheque for £300. Cheques should be made payable to Croydon Council.
Will tacit consent apply?
No. Your permit will only be issued to you when all the necessary inspections / checks have been carried out and the premises meets the required standards.
Failed application redress
Any person who is refused a permit can appeal to the Croydon Magistrates Court, Barclay Road, Croydon CR9 3NG.
Permit holder redress
Any permit holder who objects to any of the conditions attached to a permit may appeal to the Croydon Magistrates Court, Barclay Road, Croydon CR9 3NG.
