Club premises certificate

Sports and social clubs where alcohol or entertainment are provided require a club premises certificate.

How to apply

Your application must include:

  • your completed forms
  • a cheque for the relevant fee
  • a plan of the premises
  • a copy of the club rules

Fees

The application fee is based upon the rateable value of the premises and is payable on the anniversary of the grant of the licence every year. You can pay your annual fee online.

Send the completed forms and documents 

You'll need to send your forms, documents and the fee by cheques (made payable to Croydon Council) to the Licensing team.

Responsible authorities

You also need to send a copy of your application to all responsible authorities in Croydon.

Premises notices

A notice of the application must be placed in the window of the premises and also in the local newspaper.
