Alcohol licences and notices

Find out how to apply or renew a club certificate or a personal or premises licences and a temporary events notice (TEN).

Premises licence

Premises selling or supplying alcohol, providing entertainment or providing hot food must have a premises licence.

Club premises certificate

Sports and social clubs where alcohol or entertainment are provided require a club premises certificate.

Personal licence

If you are the named designated premises supervisor on a premises licence or are responsible for the sale or supply of alcohol in a licensed premises, you must apply for a personal licence under the Licensing Act 2003.

Temporary events notice (TEN)

If you want to hold an occasional event in Croydon that involves the sale of alcohol or the provision of entertainment, you must give a Temporary Event Notice (TEN).

Change the details of a licence

If you change the name, address or contact details, you will need to let us know and pay a small fee for us to change the details on your licence.
