Keeping your independence

You'll have your own flat and friends and family can visit you at any time, they are not old people's homes. You will be able to do the following independently:

  • cooking
  • housework
  • laundry
  • paying your bills
  • coming and going
  • choosing your doctor

All homes are connected to our 24-hour assist alarm system. Each flat has a unit installed so residents can get help in an emergency. Pull cords may not be available in every room.

When you move in, staff will collect information as part of your new tenant visit. 

This helps us:

  • understand any support you already receive
  • work with your existing support workers if needed
  • refer you to other services if you need extra help
