Sheltered housing is designed to meet the needs of older people who are seeking a home for independent living into their retirement.

How to apply

You can apply for sheltered housing if you are either:

  • on the housing register
  • homeless

If you want to find out if you are eligible, please contact hsg-allocations@croydon.gov.uk.

If you are already a council tenant and would like to move into sheltered housing, please speak to your housing officer for more information.
