Person-centred fire risk assessment and Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans

Person-Centred Fire Risk Assessment (PCFRA)

PCFRA is a conversation and assessment that looks at your individual circumstances and how they may affect your safety in the event of a fire.

The assessment helps us:

  • understand any fire risks within your home
  • identify whether additional fire safety equipment may be needed
  • consider any health conditions, disabilities, or mobility issues that could affect your ability to respond to a fire
  • provide advice on reducing fire risks
  • share relevant information with the London Fire Brigade where appropriate

Following the assessment, we may recommend safety measures for you.

For example:

  • smoke, heat or carbon monoxide alarms
  • adapted alarm systems for residents with hearing or visual impairments
  • other fire prevention or protection measures where required
