The Civic Mayor of Croydon

About the Civic Mayor of Croydon, their charities, how to invite them to your event, events and updates.

The Civic Mayor's charities

The Civic Mayor will work hard to raise awareness and raise funds for the following two local charity groups he has chosen to support during his civic mayoral term.

Funds raised to the Civic Mayors Charity Fund will be distributed equally between the two chosen charities at the end of the year.

Croydon Neighbourhood Care Association (CNCA)

Work in partnership with Croydon organisations and Neighbourhood Care Groups to provide a range of essential support services to reduce social isolation and loneliness in vulnerable older people over 65. CNCA also provides capacity building, member forums, training, communication, and a regular bulletin. They run a very popular bespoke befriending service providing home visits to frail, elderly, housebound people with complex needs and often a dementia diagnosis. Alongside this is a volunteer run telephone 'keeping in touch' service.
