Signature Films

Free to access outreach, training and support programmes to help find sustainable work within film, tv and the creative industries.

Signature Films award winning training offers a unique opportunity for every young person to gain experience working on a live film set where they will gain 1-2-1 mentoring in the department of their choice and receive an IMDb credit.

Skaterham

Skaterham is a community skate park that is open to BMX, skateboard, scooter and inline.

  • membership is free
  • sessions are bookable
  • all sessions are charged at the price per session ie 2 hour session is £2 and a 3 hour session is £3 however long you stay
  • helmets must be worn by those under the age of 18 and all vert users

Street League

If you are aged 16 to 30 and not in work, education or training then Street League offer free courses all across Scotland and England. 

Street League offer:

  •  support with work and life skills

  • 1-to-1 mentoring and career advice 

  • nationally recognised qualifications, including maths and English

  • daily sport and fitness activities from our trained coaches

We can support you to move into work, college, an apprenticeship or training - whatever your goals are, we can help. Our sport for employment programmes have helped thousands of young people find jobs in hundreds of different sectors, and you could be next!    
 

The Princes Trust

Various programmes  including:

Team -  Ages 16 to 25

A12-week personal development programme called for the chance to gain new skills, take a qualification and meet new people.

Get into - Ages 16 to 30

Work with top employers such as M&S, HSBC and the NHS, which are ready to hire fresh talent, while improving your CV and interview techniques. Some courses include a trial shift with potential job offers available at the end.

Win Creative

The goal of the Win Creative project is to help Croydon residents, who are not working or studying, move into a career in the creative industries. This could be front or back of house, technical or creative, in music, digital media, theatre, marketing or fashion.

They provide training, work placement, career advice and guidance, signposting and support to help you find a job or start your education in the creative sector.

Young Roots

Young Roots provide mixed group activities for young refugees and asylum seekers.

Young people can enjoy a wide range of activities, including:

  • cooking
  • dancing
  • games
  • creative and practical lessons
  • guitar lessons
  • singing
  • drama
  • language
  • sexual health rights and entitlements
  • workshops
