You do not need to bring your baby to your registration appointment. Due to limited accessibility, if you want to bring your baby you will need to use the entrance through the Clock Tower Library.

The entrance is at 9 Katharine St, Croydon, CR0 1NX. Please use the lift to get to the first floor, and follow the signage to the registry office.

Parents wanting to register a birth can book online. We have appointments available this month.

If you need an appointment sooner, please call us on 020 8726 6300 and we will try to help.

We are working as quickly as possible to reduce the number of unregistered births and we ask for your patience at this time. We'll register your baby as swiftly as we can.

Easements in place for the pandemic have ended and you will need a birth certificate when claiming any benefits related to the birth of a newborn.
