The Apprenticeship Levy Fund
As a local employer, you could be eligible to access the Croydon Council Apprenticeship Levy Fund to cover 100% of the costs of the training.
The money can be used to train new recruits or upskill existing members of staff.

Who can apply
You must have less than 250 employees and offer an apprenticeship to a Croydon resident or have a business based in Croydon.
You can either use:
- your own training provider
- our free recruitment service – Croydon Works – use this service to find a provider and a suitable candidate that meets the eligibility criteria for the funding
How to apply
You can apply for this funding at any time before you start paying for the apprentice’s training.
