Croydon's Intentions and Market Position Statement

Croydon’s market position statement reflects:

  • the current demand for care and support
  • the future provision of care to meet the changing needs of local people
  • the current financial challenges being experienced across health and social care

The market position statement gives strategic information for providers to:

  • inform business and development plans
  • meet the council’s strategic priorities
  • deliver service innovation and value for money

We will continue to talk to providers and service users we commission through our forums and resident engagement groups. Our aim is to ensure there is sufficient care provision to help people live as independently as possible.

Updates to the statement will be made when there are significant changes to report.
