Help with adult social care services

Advocacy

Advocacy is support for you to have your feelings and wishes heard in meetings or situations, or where decisions may be made about you.  Advocates listen to you and act according to your wishes. They do not give their view of what is best, or try to influence you to make a choice, but help you make the best decision for you.
