Wedding and civil partnership venues

Our offices are located in the beautiful Town Hall Grade II listed building. Built in 1896, it retains many of its original features.

We have 3 ceremony rooms available for weddings and civil partnership ceremonies.

Capacities are severely reduced during the coronavirus pandemic. All guests (excluding the couple) are legally required to wear a face-covering unless they are exempt.

Clocktower room

This ceremony suite has a traditional feel. It can seat up to 65 guests including your witnesses. Ceremonies in this room are currently limited to the couple and four other people.

Once we move to the next stages of reopening venues and while social distancing rules still apply we can safely accommodate 12 persons in the wedding party.
