London Borough of Croydon

We're consulting on the introduction of emission-based parking charges for resident and business parking permits. Get involved and have your say by 20 June.

Unless a valid permit is clearly displayed in your vehicle, it is not covered by the permit scheme and you could be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice. You should buy a pay & display ticket or use the cashless parking service, RingGo, until your permit arrives.

If you are a resident in a controlled parking zone you can apply for the equivalent of 30 days parking per calendar year for your visitors. As a resident you must be either be registered on the council tax or electoral register for the address within the controlled parking zone.

We no longer issue scratch cards and residents can apply using our online service, unlike the scratch card service there is no need to pay up front and the process is more environmentally friendly. Please note - any existing scratch cards will still be valid until the expiry date shown on them.
