Croydon Virtual School is a group of education and social care professionals, responsible for the progress of the children we look after.
E.M.P.I.R.E stands for: Empowerment, Memories, Positivity, Interesting, Respect and Educational.
E.M.P.I.R.E's purpose is to empower children looked after and care leavers with the confidence to influence policy change. It allows them to shape the service and have their voice heard. They also get the chance to make new friends and go on fun trips! All children and young people automatically become E.M.P.I.R.E members from the day they become looked after by Croydon.
For more information about E.M.P.I.R.E please email empire@croydon.gov.uk or visit the E.M.P.I.R.E web page.
