Mayor of London and GLA elections:
You will need to bring a photo ID to vote at a polling station in the GLA and Mayoral elections on 2 May.
The next Mayor of London and Greater London Assembly elections will take place on Thursday 2 May 2024.
Registered voters in Croydon will vote for:
Following the resignations of Councillor Mike Bonello (Woodside), and Councillor Jade Appleton (Park Hill and Whitgift), casual vacancies exist for a Councillor in both wards.
The required requests from two registered electors for by-elections to take place to fill these vacancies have been received and therefore by-elections will take place alongside the GLA elections on 2 May 2024.
Registered electors in the by-election wards will be able to cast their votes at their polling station for the GLA elections. When attending their polling station, they will receive an additional ballot paper for the by-election.
Due to the time required to produce poll cards and postal vote packs, separate poll cards and postal votes for this by-election will be sent out to electors in these wards.
All deadlines for registration and absent votes are the same as for the GLA elections.
