The Pride in Place Programme, funded by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), is a long-term regeneration initiative designed to improve disadvantaged neighbourhoods. This is by giving local communities direct influence over how investment is spent in their areas.
The programme is designed to strengthen civic pride, enhance local environments, and address social and economic challenges in areas experiencing high levels of deprivation and weaker social infrastructure.
