Request a refund of a penalty charge notice incurred on a low traffic neighbourhood street between 30 March 2024 and 4 March 2026.
Change of vehicle temporary permit cover
A temporary permit covers you if you have a valid parking permit and have a new car, or a courtesy car while your car is in for repair.
You can request temporary cover for a:
- temporary vehicle change: for example, while your usual vehicle is in for repair
- permanent vehicle change: if you no longer have the registered vehicle
This service is not valid for Ringo account holders. Any changes to your parking must be made via your Ringo account.
Temporary cover cannot be used while your registered vehicle remains parked on the street displaying the original permit. You must ensure:
- the permit is removed from the vehicle it was issued to, or
- the vehicle must be off-road (for example kept in a garage or on a private driveway)
Failure to do this may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being issued to both vehicles.
Submitting this form does not guarantee the issue of a temporary cover. Parking the vehicle will only be covered once you have received the confirmation email and displayed the information within it. You may be liable for parking enforcement before this time.
