What is Nordic walking?
Nordic walking uses specially designed poles to enhance your natural walking experience. This technique is similar to the upper body action of classic cross country skiing, Nordic walking becomes a genuinely whole body exercise that can be enjoyed by all levels.
Learn to Nordic walk by attending our training morning on the first Monday of every month - participants must book in advance.
Where: Meet at Lloyd Park Pavilion.
When: First Monday of every month.
Time: 10:30am to 11am. Cost: Free
After the 30-minute taster you will then be invited to put those skills into practice with a guided walk around Lloyd Park.
