The Friends of Wandle Park

The Friends of Wandle Park is a group of volunteers who meet every month to discuss maintaining the quality of the park, work on projects around the park to increase fauna and flora, and support groups with other projects on the site.

The group has helped with putting on poetry, music and theatre in the park as well as being a guiding light on the heritage projects and the community garden.

If you would like to get involved in the community activities going on around the park, the Friends of Wandle Park is a great place to start! New members are warmly welcome.

If you are interested in getting involved with the friends of Wandle Park, please email friendsofwandlepark@gmail.com

Wandle Park Community Garden

Wandle Park Community Garden is a fun, friendly project growing food and flowers in Wandle Park. The idea of the project is to provide a great place to come on a Sunday and have a chat, discuss gardening and grow food.

Wandle Park summer events

During the summer Wandle Park comes alive with a program of events to celebrate and utilise this brand new space on the door step of Croydon Town Centre.

Live music, cinema, theatre and extreme sports all feature in this exciting program, as well as more gentle pursuits such as heritage walks, storytelling and conservation and gardening days.

The project is always looking for volunteers to get involved, so if you would like to help your local communities, contact Andrew Dickinson andrew.dickinson@croydon.gov.uk.
