Loans for repairs to private properties

Interest free loans of up to £6,000 for applicants either over the age of 60 or have a disability, or in receipt of an income related benefit whose property is in need of energy efficiency measures (for example, new heating system).

Interest free loans of up to £30,000 for applicants whose property is in serious disrepair. The loans are means tested and designed for people on low incomes or certain benefits.

These conditions are applicable to home investment loans, home repair loans and Croydon energy loans.

Interest free loans of up to £4,000 for applicants over the age of 60, or who have a disability, whose property is in need of minor repairs and safety measures.
