Group 5 Healthy School Streets schemes

We have been working with schools to understand where there is an interest in new Healthy School Streets. In 2024, we undertook informal consultations to hear the views on seven new schemes.

  • Riddlesdown Collegiate, Honister Heights, CR8 1EX
  • Rowdown Primary School, Calley Down Crescent, CR0 0EG

Following the informal consultation held in May 2024 we made recommendations to Cabinet.

Statutory consultation

Following the Cabinet decision and further informal consultation, we undertook the statutory consultation for implementation of 3 new Healthy School Streets:

  • Applegarth Academy, Fieldway , CR0 9DL
  • Beulah Road Infant and Nursery, Furze Road,CR7 8NJ
  • Harris Primary Academy Purley,  Propeller Crescent, CR0 4FE

The statutory consultation took place between 12 December 2024 to 8 January 2025.  We are currently analysing the responses and our decision will be posted on this page.

Delegated decision

Following the statutory consultation held in December 2024 and January 2025, we made recommendations to the Corporate Director of Sustainable Communities, Regeneration, and Economic Recovery.
