Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ)
London's Ultra Low Emission Zone.
In August 2023, the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) expanded across all London boroughs, including Croydon. See a map of the expanded ULEZ area.
The ULEZ is in effect 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year, except Christmas Day (25 December).
If you drive anywhere within the ULEZ expanded area and your vehicle does not meet the emission standards, you could face a daily charge of £12.50. This includes residents within the ULEZ. You will not be required to pay the ULEZ charge if you are parked inside the zone and don't drive. Find out more about the ULEZ expansion.
