Greenlawn Memorial Park

Greenlawn Memorial Park has been managed by Croydon Council since 1947. It is a lawn cemetery that, unlike a 'traditional' cemetery, does not permit kerbed monuments. Its covenant allows only for flat tablets set in the ground. This creates the pleasant visual effect of a continuous area of lawn and permits an economical and high standard of maintenance to be achieved. The major benefit of this is that grave-owners are relieved of most maintenance responsibilities and liabilities. The council can supply the plaques in a range of sizes and prices. You may wish to source your own supplier and you can contact the Cemetery office for further information regarding regulations.

There are new graves at this cemetery, but due to limited availability they are only sold for immediate use.
