ASBO Magazine

ASBO Magazine is a local magazine and online resource, providing valuable experience for young people interested in media, fashion, music and TV production.

Better: Public sports and leisure facilities

Better aims to get people more active. They promote healthy and active lifestyles, giving communities access to facilities that help improve their health and happiness through participation in activities. 


In the Croydon area they have the Croydon Community Hub, the Outdoor hub for sports, training, events and local sports teams and 33 tennis courts across 14 parks in the borough.

They also offer a range of activities including:

Croydon Drop In (CDI)

CDI  supports young people aged 11 to 25 years old and families who live, work or study in Croydon.

CDI offer free and confidential counselling information, advice and advocacy services.

Legacy Youth Zone

Legacy is a multi-purpose facility where young people in Croydon have the opportunity to discover their full potential. For £5 annual membership and 50p per visit young people can: 

  • enjoy a safe space to hang out and make new friends
  • raise their aspirations and confidence 
  • get support in finding out what they want to pursue in life
  • have new experiences and opportunities

London Learning Consortium

Tailored programmes to meet the needs of learners delivered through 1- 2-1 mentoring sessions and group sessions.

Programmes include:

  • English/maths short courses
  • online short courses
  • understanding employment, business and enterprise
  • apprenticeship or appropriate traineeship
  • work placement
  • army
  • residential

This service is for:

Young people aged 16-24.

Oxygen Freejumping

Oxygen Freejumping provide 65 interconnected trampolines for you to explore. There are also lots of other zones, these include:

  • a mega airbag
  • reaction walls
  • dodgeball 
  • foam pit

Oxygen Freejumping offer toddler sessions for children aged 0 to 5 years old and their parents or guardians and kid's parties.

Autism-friendly sessions are for those on the autistic spectrum, or with sensory or learning disabilities.

Signature Films

Free to access outreach, training and support programmes to help find sustainable work within film, tv and the creative industries.

Signature Films award winning training offers a unique opportunity for every young person to gain experience working on a live film set where they will gain 1-2-1 mentoring in the department of their choice and receive an IMDb credit.

Street League

If you are aged 16 to 30 and not in work, education or training then Street League offer free courses all across Scotland and England. 

Street League offer:

  •  support with work and life skills

  • 1-to-1 mentoring and career advice 

  • nationally recognised qualifications, including maths and English

  • daily sport and fitness activities from our trained coaches
