Our aim to better the educational and employment outcomes, as well as the life chances, of each and every child who passes through or stays in the care of us.
Our Post-16 team supports care-experienced young people aged 16 to 19. We also support young people up to age 25 if they have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
We work with young people, carers, social workers, education providers and other services to help young people achieve their education, training and employment goals.
Each young person has an allocated advisory teacher or education adviser who supports and advocates for them throughout their post-16 education.

The amount awarded depends on the young person’s individual circumstances and actual financial need.
