What does the law say about school attendance?
If you fail to register your child at a school and not arrange suitable alternative education, the council may issue a School Attendance Order requiring you to register your child at a named school.
The London Borough of Croydon is adopting the Croydon Council penalty notice code of conduct.
Schools and Education Welfare Officer (EWO) providers can only apply for further guidance on these policies, along with the forms and letters at EducationPenaltyNotices@croydon.gov.uk.
