What vehicles are accepted

Cars 

Cars can be used at all sites, and have the following restrictions: 

  • no trade waste
  • maximum 6 bags of rubble
  • no pick-up trucks exceeding 5 metres in length

Vehicle permits must be displayed and will be checked prior to entry, which may lead to longer queues. If you do not have a vehicle permit, you must bring documents that prove your identity and address. 

Cars with trailers

Cars with trailers cannot be used at any of the sites.

Vans

Vans will only be accepted at Factory Lane HRRC, and have the following restrictions: 

  • you can only use Factory Lane HRRC on Tuesday and Wednesday between 11am and 1pm
  • must not be more than 5 metres total length and 2.6 metres high
  • no tippers
  • no Lutons
  • no trade waste 
  • maximum 6 bags of rubble

We do not issue permits for vans, you must bring documents that prove your identity and address.
