20mph areas for residential roads
South West Croydon (area 5)
The new 20mph speed limit for South West Croydon is now operational. Area 5 went live 12 March 2018. There are 20mph signs in place at the entry points and within the area covered and a map is shown below and also available to download.
Consultation on the proposed speed limit started in January 2017. In May 2017 the council's Traffic Management Advisory Committee recommended that the proposal be implemented.
