How to pay charges

You can pay charges in person at any Croydon library. We can only take card payments.

Summary of charges for overdue items.

Adults: Books and Spoken Word CDs	25p per item per day
Children: Books and Spoken Word CDs	Free Children's items borrowed by adults will incur fines
Large print	25p per item per day Free for the visually impaired

Summary of charges for borrowed audio books and language courses.

Spoken Word Audio books	£2.20 Free if you are registered disabled. Spoken word items for children are free.
Language courses	Short courses £1.50

Charges for reserving items

Items which are not in stock with The Libraries Consortium	Suggestions can be made by emailing libraries@croydon.gov.uk.

Charges for copying and printing services

Black and white	A4: 20p per side; A3: 30p per side
Colour	A4: 55p per side; A3: 80p per side

If you want to use a computer for longer than 2 hours, you can buy extra time subject to availability. Unused time will not be refunded.

Charges for using the library computer

60 minutes	£2.50 (standard rate); £1.50 (Over 60s and Jobseekers rate)
30 minutes	£1.50 (standard rate); £0.75 (Over 60s and Jobseekers rate)

Charges for replacing borrowed items and membership cards.
