The Museum of Croydon is based at Croydon Clocktower and includes a newly refurbished interactive museum, a regular programme of temporary exhibitions and the Riesco Gallery of Chinese ceramics.

Admission is free.

Croydon Museum & Archives (level 0, Croydon Clocktower)

Our new facilities, on level 0 of Croydon Clocktower, feature changing displays from the Croydon Art Collection, a local history research room and dedicated activities space.

Along with the Riesco Gallery and Museum of Croydon, they are the place to visit to find out about the history of your family, your local community and the history of Croydon.

All of our spaces are free to visit. Our opening times are:

  • Tuesday 1pm - 5pm
  • Wednesday to Saturday 10.30am - 5pm

Our Research room has open-display materials which you can view without appointment. To view our further collections including archive and museum collection please book an appointment.
