Additional HMO licensing
We are consulting on proposals to introduce two new private rented licensing schemes in Croydon. One is selective licensing scheme and the other is an Additional HMO licensing. Find out more and have your say in the survey. closing date Monday 12 January 2026.
Croydon does not currently have an additional HMO licensing scheme.
Additional licensing schemes can apply to any property occupied by three or more individuals that is not captured by mandatory HMO licensing.
