Croydon Youth Council is run for young people by young people, and aims to represent the views of young people aged 11-19 who live or study in Croydon.
The youth council runs projects and campaigns on issues that are important to young people. The 2014-15 youth council focused on two projects:
- anti-bullying with an event in Croydon Park Hotel
- young people's relationship with the police. They produced a stop and search leaflet to help young people learn their rights. The leaflet is available below.
