Fees and charges

There are restrictions on who can buy copies of an Electoral Register and on how the information can be used.

Fees and charges (specified in the Representation of the People Regulation 2001)

The following fees and charges apply to anyone entitled to buy a copy of the Electoral Register:

  • Sale of the Edited Register (Regulation 110(2))
    Data on CD/email - £20 plus £1.50 per thousand entries (or part)
    Printed copy - £10 plus £5 per thousand entries (or part)
     
  • Sale of the Full Register (Regulation 111(5))
    Data on CD/email - £20 plus £1.50 per thousand entries (or part)
    Printed copy - £10 plus £5 per thousand entries (or part)
    (There are strict regulations as to who is entitled to purchase the Full Register. It is an offence to use the complete register for purposes other than those for which it was supplied)
     
  • Sale of the list of Overseas Electors (Regulation 111(6))
    Data on CD/email - £20 plus £1.50 per thousand entries (or part)
    Printed copy - £10 plus £5 per thousand entries (or part)
    Postage and packing is charged at £10 and will be added to the final calculation (where applicable)

  • Registers are only dispatched on receipt of payment
  • Cash and cheques are acceptable methods of payment. If you are paying by cheque please make it payable to: London Borough of Croydon
