Decant policy
The decant policy outlines our approach to the management of decants when we decide that residents must be moved temporarily or permanently and can be applied to all council owned properties.
We want to ensure that decants are managed in a fair and reasonable manner, minimising disturbance to residents and making the best use of our resources. Provisions are also set out for consultation, compensation, and assistance with all aspects of any decant.
