How we aim to support families during pregnancy and early childhood to give all children the best possible start in their first 6 years of life.

Our strategy sets the strategic framework for delivering Croydon’s vision for its youngest residents and their families.

We aim to ensure that all children achieve the best possible development, health, wellbeing and education outcomes from before pregnancy to 6 years of age.

Working in partnership with families and carers and partners across the voluntary, private and statutory sectors is crucial for implementing our vision. The vision is underpinned by a commitment to prevention, and the earliest possible intervention to reduce inequalities that could impact throughout a lifetime.
